Niners Overcome Rams In OT To Lock Up Playoff Berth

Jauan Jennings caught two passes for touchdowns (one each from Deebo Samuel and Jimmy Garoppolo) on Sunday, then Robbie Gould connected on a 24-yard field goal late in overtime as the San Francisco 49ers (10-7) overcame a 17-point deficit and upended the home-standing Los Angeles Rams (12-5) 27-24 to lock up a playoff berth on the final day of the National Football League's regular season.

The Niners, currently the #6 seed in the National Football Conference, can lock up a playoff berth next Sunday with a road victory over the Los Angeles Rams (1:25 PM Pacific Time, FOX) or a New Orleans loss at Atlanta.
