The National Football League Playoffs opened on Saturday with two opening-round games, both in the American Football Conference:
At Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati:
Quarterback Joe Barrow completed 24 of 34 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals won a playoff game for the first time in 31 years by holding off the visiting Las Vegas Raiders 26-19.
At Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, New York:
Quarterback Josh Allen completed 21 of 25 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns while running back Devin Singletary ran for 81 yards and two other scores as the Buffalo Bills demolished the visiting New England Patriots 47-17.
