Niners Overcome Rams In OT To Lock Up Playoff Berth

 At SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California:


Jauan Jennings caught two passes for touchdowns (one each from Deebo Samuel and Jimmy Garoppolo) on Sunday, then Robbie Gould connected on a 24-yard field goal late in overtime as the San Francisco 49ers (10-7) overcame a 17-point deficit and upended the home-standing Los Angeles Rams (12-5) 27-24 to lock up a playoff berth on the final day of the National Football League's regular season.


Defensive back Ambry Thomas intercepted a Matthew Stafford pass to end the game.


The Rams, even with the defeat, still won the NFC West Division title.
