NFL Playoffs: Bucs, Niners, Chiefs Advance To Divisional Round

 The opening round of the NFL Playoffs continued on Sunday with three games.


NATIONAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE:


At Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida:


Tom Brady completed 29 of 37 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns (one each to Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski) as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the visiting Philadelphia Eagles 31-15.


At AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas:


Running back Elijah Mitchell and wide receiver Deebo Samuel each ran for a touchdown as the San Francisco 49ers held off a last-second desperate Dallas Cowboys rally and on 23-17 on the road.



AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE:


At Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri:


Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 30 of 39 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs ambushed the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers 42-21.
