The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued on Saturday with four games.
CENTRAL DIVISION:
At Tampa, Florida:
Alex Killorn scored twice (once on the power play) as the Tampa Bay Lightning tamed the visiting Florida Panthers 6-2 in game four of their divisional playoff series.
The Lightning can close out the Panthers with a game-five victory at Sunrise, Florida on Monday.
EAST DIVISION:
At Uniondale, Long Island:
Oliver Wahlstrom and Jordan Eberle each scored a power-play third-period goal as the New York Islanders squared their series with the Pittsburgh Penguins at two games apiece after their 4-1 game-four home victory.
NORTH DIVISION:
At Toronto:
Jason Spezza, Austin Matthews, Rasmus Sandin (power play), William Nylander (power play), and Alexander Kerfoot (empty net) each scored once as the Toronto Maple Leafs squared their series with the Montreal Canadiens at a game apiece after manhandling the visiting Habs 5-1.
The victory was the Leafs' first in a playoff game against the Canadiens since 1967, during the final that produced Toronto's most recent Stanley Cup championship.
WEST DIVISION:
At St. Paul, Minnesota:
Nicolas Roy scored twice (once on an empty netter) while Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 35 shots as the Vegas Golden Knights blitzed the Minnesota Wild 4-0 on the road in game four of their divisional semifinal series, which the Knights now lead three games to one.
Vegas can finish off the Wild with a game-five victory at home on Monday (CNBC, 7:30 PM Pacific Time).
