Timbers Prove Too Much For Shorthanded Galaxy

 At Portland, Oregon:

Felipe Mora scored twice (47', 60') and Diego Valeri once (PK-69') on Saturday as the Portland Timbers dominated the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 3-0 in Major League Soccer action.

The Galaxy were reduced to ten men after the 44th minute when Derrick Williams was ejected via a straight red card after his clumsy foul on Portland's Andy Polo.

Goalkeeper Logan Ketterer registered his second shutout in as many MLS games.

The Timbers' next match will be next Sunday on the road against the Philadelphia Union (1:00 PM Pacific Time, Fox Sports 1).
