Rush Limbaugh, the pioneering nationally-syndicated conservative radio talk show host who last year was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump, passed away on Wednesday following a battle with lung cancer at age 70.
Rush, who began his nationally-syndicated radio show in 1988, was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, but continued his radio show through last year.
