MLB Playoffs: Padres Handcuff Mets To Get Shot At Dodgers

Joe Musgrave pitched seven innings of one-run, five-strikeout baseball on Sunday while the bullpen (namely, Robert Suarez and Josh Hader) did the rest as the San Diego Padres held the hosts New York Mets to one base it as they blanked the hosts 6-0 in the third and decisive game of their opening round series and knocked New York out two games to one.

The Padres will visit the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first two games of their best-of-five divisional playoff series, starting on Tuesday.
