Santiago Moreno's Stoppage-Time Equalizer Gains Precious Road Point For Timbers

Santiago Moreno's equalizer at the death (90'+5) lifted the visiting Portland Timbers to a 1-1 Sunday Major League Soccer deadlock with the Columbus Crew as Portland picked up a road point and climbed up to fifth place in the Western Conference with two regular-season games remaining.


Kevin Molino scored for the Crew at 36 minutes.


The Timbers, whose unbeaten run has reached five games, will host the Los Angeles Football Club in a nationally-televised affair on Sunday, October 2 at 12:00 Noon Pacific Time on ABC. It will be Portland's final regular-season home match.
