Lions Open Season With 3-3 Road Draw

 At Braga, Portugal:

Simon Banza (14'), Sikou Niakate (45'+1), and Abel Ruiz (88') each scored once for Sporting Braga as they opened their Portuguese Primeira Liga campaign by gaining a 3-3 home draw with Sporting CP.

The Lions, who opened their league campaign as well on Sunday, got goals from Pedro Goncalves (9'), Nuno Santos (18'), and Marcus Edwards (83').
