Giants Down Rockies In Denver Again

Tommy La Stella homered on the second pitch of the game and doubled twice on Tuesday as the visiting San Francisco Giants (22-14) again defeated the Colorado Rockies (17-19) 10-7.

NBA Playoffs:  Heat Defeat Celtics In East Finals Opener

At Miami:

Jimmy Butler scored 41 points and grabbed nine rebounds on Tuesday night as the Miami Heat held off the visiting Boston Celtics 118-107 in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Finals as the NBA Playoffs'  semifinal round commenced.

Tyler Herro came off the bench to add 18 points to the Miami coffers while pulling down eight boards.

Jayson Brown scored 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Celtics while Jaylen Brown went 24 and 10 in those respective categories.

Stanley Cup Playoffs:  Lightning, Avalanche Take Series Openers As Quarterfinals Commence
