UEFA Champions League: Liverpool Advances To Final
At Estadio de la Ceramica, Villarreal, Spain:
Fabio Henrique Fabinho Tavares (62'), Luis Diaz (67'), and Sadio Mane (74') each scored once in the second half on Tuesday as Liverpool defeated Villarreal 3-2 on the road in game two of their UEFA Champions League semifinal series and took out the Yellow Submarine 5-2 on aggregate.
The Reds will face the Manchester City-Real Madrid winner in the Final set for Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France, near Paris on Saturday, May 28.
Dodgers Hold Off Giants At Home
At Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles:
A second-inning two-run single from Chris Taylor coupled with six solid innings from pitcher Julio Urias propelled the Los Angeles Dodgers (15-7) to a 3-1 home victory on Tuesday night over the San Francisco Giants (14-9).

The Stanley Cup Playoffs' opening round continued on Tuesday with four games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Sunrise, Florida:
T.J. Oshie's go-ahead third-period goal propelled the Washington Capitals to a 4-2 road win over the Florida Panthers in the opening game of their conference quarterfinal series.
At New York:
Evgeni Malkin scored the winning goal at 5:58 of the third overtime period carried the Pittsburgh Penguins to a series-opening 4-3 road win over the New York Rangers.
Louis Domingue came in relief of starter Casey DeSmith and stopped all 17 shots to help make the Penguins' victory possible.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Denver:
Nathan MacKinnon scored twice as the Colorado Avalanche lived to their nickname as they scored five goals in the first period en route to burying the visiting Nashville Predators 7-2 in their series-opening contest.
At Calgary, Alberta:
Elias Lindholm scored the game's only goal while Jacob Markstrom saved all 16 shots as the Calgary Flames handcuffed the visiting Dallas Stars 1-0 in the opening game of their opening-round series.
Jake Oettinger put in a valiant goaltending performance for the Stars as he saved 25 of 26 Flames shots.
NBA Playoffs: Celtics, Grizzlies Square Respective Series At 1-1
The NBA Playoffs continued on Tuesday with two games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Boston:
Jaylen Brown scored 30 points while Jayson Tatum added 29 as the Boston Celtics leveled their conference semifinal series with the Milwaukee Bucks at a game apiece after their 109-86 game-two overpowering of the visitors.
Grant Williams came off the bench to add 21 points to the Celtics' coffers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo topped the Bucks with 28 points while grabbing nine rebounds.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Memphis, Tennessee:
Ja Morant scored 47 points and grabbed eight rebounds and dished out eight assists as the Memphis Grizzlies squared their series with the Golden State Warriors at one game apiece after overtaking their guests 106-101 in game two.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points to go with his nine boards and eight assists while Jordan Poole scored 20 off the bench.
