Jazz Overpower Blazers As Portland Concludes season on 11-game losing (and going 2-21


At Portland, Oregon:


Juancho Hernangomez scored a season-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds on Sunday as the Utah Jazz (49-33) overpowered the homestanding Portland Trail Blazers (27-55) 111-80 in the NBA regular-season finale for both clubs.


Reggie Perry topped the Blazers with 20 points while grabbing eight boards.


Portland will miss the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2013 as they closed out the season with eleven straight defeats (and 21 in 23 games since the All-Star Break, playing on too many occasions like a club team playing in a major professional league.

Kevin Volland scored the game winner at 57 minutes on Sunday as AS Monaco officially clinched French Ligue 1 survival by defeating visiting Troyes 2-1.
