At Providence Park, Portland, Oregon:
Fredy Montero (12', 29') and Raul Ruidiaz (55', 72') each scored twice as the Seattle Sounders broke open was was promising to be a tight game and demolished the Portland Timbers 6-2 on the road in Sunday Major League Soccer (and Cascadia Cup) action.
Jimmy Medrana (77') and Nicolas Benezet (90'+4) rounded out the Sounders' scoring.
