MLS: Five Stripes, Fire, Nashville, Sounders Gather Sunday Wins

At Atlanta:

Josef Martinez scored the game's only goal in the 47th minute as Atlanta United defeated the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 1-0.

At Chicago:

Luka Stojanovic scored the only goal of the match in the 77th minute as the Chicago Fire knocked off the visiting Columbus Crew 1-0.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

C.J. Sapong (14', 31') and Alex Muyl (80', 87') each scored twice as Nashville SC dominated visiting DC United 5-2.

At Portland, Oregon:

Fredy Montero (12', 29') and Raul Ruidiaz (55', 72') each scored twice as the Seattle Sounders demolished the Portland Timbers 6-2 on the road in a Cascadia Cup Clash.
