UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round: Legia, Malmo. Legia, Olympiacos, PSV Take Series Openers

 The second round of UEFA Champions League qualifying reached its' midway point on Wednesday with seven games.


Champions Path:


At Almaty, Kazakhstan:


Macky Bagnack scored the winning goal in the 78th minute as Kairat upended visiting Red Star Belgrade 2-1 in their opening contest.


At Malmo, Sweden:


Anders Christiansen scored the winning goal in the 74th minute as Malmo FF defeated visiting HJK Helsinki 2-1 in their series opener.


At Murska Sotoba, Slovenia:


The opening match between NK Mura and visiting Ludogorets Razgrad ended in a 0-0 stalemate.


At Bratislava, Slovakia:


Slovan Bratislava and visiting BSC Young Boys battled to a 0-0 deadlock in their series opener.


At Warsaw, Poland:


Rafael Lopes' stoppage-time goal (90'+1) carried Legia Warsaw past visiting FC Flora 2-1 in game one.


At Piraeus, Greece:


Mohamed Camera scored the only goal of the match in the 29th minute as Olympiacos took their opening game with Neftci Baku 1-0 at home.



League Path:


At Eindhoven, Netherlands:


Eran Zahavi produced a hat trick (2', 35', 84') and Mario Gotze added a double (51', 88') as PSV Eindhoven demolished visiting Galatasaray 5-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.
