NBA Playoffs: Bucks Close Out Hawks And Advance To Finals For First Time Since 1974

Khris Middleton scored 34 points (and dished out seven assists) while Jrue Holiday added 27 (to go with his nine rebounds and nine assists) as the Milwaukee Bucks held off the Atlanta Hawks 118-107 on the road in Saturday in game six of the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals and won their series four games to two.


The Bucks advanced to their first NBA Finals since 1974, when they fell to the Boston Celtics in seven games.


Cam Reddish came off the bench to lead the Hawks with 21 points while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 20 as the Hawks's bid for their first Finals appearance since 1961 (when they were based in St. Louis) came to an end.


The Bucks will open the NBA Finals on Tuesday night on the road against the Phoenix Suns (6:00 PM Pacific Time, ABC)
