At Harrison, New Jersey (due to ongoing COVID-related travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):
Mathieu Choiniere scored the only goal of the match in the 42ns minute as CF Montreal defeated visiting Inter Miami 1-0.
At Orlando, Florida:
Fabio scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute as the New York Red Bulls upended Orlando City 2-1 on the road.
At Chicago:
Ignacio Aliseda scored twice (34', 45'+6) as the Chicago Fire scorched visiting Atlanta United 3-0.
At Saint Paul, Minnesota:
Sade Cowell (15') and Benjamin Kikanovic (82') each scored once for the San Jose Earthquakes as the guests gained a 2-2 draw with Minnesota United.
Brent Kallman (45'+4) and Ramon Abila (PK-69') each scored once for the Loons.
At Nashville, Tennessee:
C.J. Sapong's second-minute goal held up as Nashville SC defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0.
At Houston:
The Houston Dynamo and visiting FC Cincinnati provided all the scoring in the first five minutes of their 1-1 stalemate.
Tyler Pasher scored for the Dynamo in the third minute, only to see Cincy's Alvaro Barreal equalize just two minutes later.
At Sandy, Utah:
Jose Cifuentes scored the game's lone goal at 69 minutes as the Los Angeles Football Club defeated hosts Real Salt Lake 1-0.
