Ismael Tojouri-Shradi scored the game's lone goal in the 29th minute as New York City defeated visiting CF Montreal 1-0.
At Toronto:
Ralph Priso's equalizer in the 62nd minute lifted Toronto FC to a 1-1 home draw with the New York Red Bulls.
