MLS: Reds, Montreal, Fire, LAFC, Rapids, Sounders, RSL, Galaxy Gain Wednesday Wins

 Eight games were contested on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.


At Foxborough, Massachusetts:


Tsubasa Endoh scored the game winner in the 24th minute as Toronto FC, in Javier Perez's first game as interim manager, held off the New England Revolution 3-2 on the road.


At Orlando, Florida (due to ongoing COVID-related travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):


Romell Quioto scored the winning goal in the 73rd minute as CF Montreal knocked off visiting New York City 2-1.


At Chicago:


Boris Sekulic scored the winning goal in the opening minute of first-half stoppage time as the Chicago Fire defeated visiting Orlando City 3-1.


At Austin, Texas:


Jose Cifuentes (39') and Diego Rossi (89') each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club blanked FC Austin 2-0 on the road.


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Braian Galvin (45') and Andre Shinyashiki (81') each scored once as the Colorado Rapids blanked visiting Minnesota United 2-0.


At Seattle, Washington:


Kelyn Rowe (63') and Raul Ruidiaz (90'+4) each scored once as the Seattle Sounders set a new MLS record by opening the season with a 13-game unbeaten streak after blanking the visiting Houston Dynamo 2-0.


At Sandy, Utah (due to COVID-related travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):


Damir Kreilach scored twice (1', 51') as Real Salt Lake demolished the Vancouver Whitecaps 4-0, in was designated a 'Caps home game.


At Carson, California:


Kevin Cabral scored the game winner at 27 minutes as the Los Angeles Galaxy held off visiting FC Dallas 3-1.
