The final cycle of group-stage play in the CONCACAF Gold Cup commenced on Sunday with four games.
GROUP A:
At the Cotton Bowl, Dallas:
Luis Alfonso Rodriguez scored the only goal of the match in the 26th minute as Mexico defeated El Salvador 1-0 to lock up top spot in Group A as both squads will play in the quarterfinal round.
At Toyota Stadium, Frisco, Texas:
Gerardo Gordillo's equalizer in the 77th minute carried Guatemala to a 1-1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago, a draw that ended the Soca Warriors' tournament adventure.
Reon Moore scored for T&T in the 12th minute.

With both teams already eliminated, Ricardo Ade's game winner at 61 minutes carried Haiti past Martinique 2-1.
At Children's Mercy Park, Kansas City, Kansas:
Shaq Moore goal 20 seconds into the match proved to be enough as the United States, battling through injuries, held off Canada 1-0 to clinch top spot in Group B as both teams had already assured themselves of berths in the quarterfinal round.
That goal from Mr. Moore was the fastest in US Men's National Team history.

2. Canada (GP: 3; GD: +5; PTS: 6)
3. Haiti (GP: 3; GD: -3; PTS: 3)
