The preliminary round of the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League opened with two games played in Albania.
At Elbasan:
Endrit Krasniqi (51') and Mendurim Hoti (90'+1) each scored once as Kosovo's Prishtina blanked San Marino's Folgore 2-0.
At Durres:
Jordi Betriu scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute as Andorra's Inter Club d'Escaldes knocked off HB Torshavn from the Faroe Islands 1-0.
Prishtina and Inter Club e'Escaldes advanced to Friday's preliminary round final to be played at Elbasan, Albania.
The winner would advance to the Champions League's first qualifying round and will face Hungary's Ferencvaros in a two-game series.
The loser of Friday's game will join Folgore and HB Torshavn in the second qualifying round of the inaugural edition of the Europa Conference League.
