Euro 2020: Croatia Joins England In Advancing To Knockout Stage; Scotland Eliminated

 Action in Group D of the European Championship concluded on Tuesday with two games.


At Glasgow, Scotland:


Luka Modric scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute as Croatia defeated Scotland 3-1 to advance to the knockout stage as The Tartan Army has been eliminated.


At London:


Raheem Sterling scored the game's lone goal in the 12th minute as England defeated the Czech Republic 1-0 to win Group D.


Despite the defeat, the Czechs join the Three Lions in advancing to the knockout stage.
