The NBA Playoffs continued on Monday with two games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Washington:
Bradley Beal scored 27 points while Rui Hachimura added 20 (to go with his 13 rebounds) as the Washington Wizards, with seven players (including all five starters) scoring in double figures, avoided elimination and held off the visiting Philadelphia 76ers 122-114 in game four of their conference quarterfinal series.
Tobias Harris topped the Sixers with 21 points while pulling down 13 boards.
Philadelphia, still up three games to one, can close out the series with a game-five home victory on Wednesday (4:00 PM Pacific Time, NBA TV).
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Memphis, Tennessee:
Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points and dished out eight assists as the Utah Jazz defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 120-113 in game four of their conference quarterfinal series.
Jordan Clarkson contributed to the Jazz's coffers by coming off the bench to score 24 points.
Ja Morant topped the Grizzlies with 23 points (while dishing out 12 assists) while Dillon Brooks and Jaren Jackson each added 21 points for Memphis.
The Jazz, up three games to one, can close out the series with a game-five home victory in Salt Lake City on Wednesday (6:30 PM Pacific Time, NBA TV).
