NBA Playoffs: Sixers Square Series With Hawks At 1-1; Jazz Outlast Clippers In Series Opener

 The NBA Playoffs continued on Tuesday with two games.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At Philadelphia:


Joel Embiid scored 40 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers leveled their conference semifinal series with the Atlanta Hawks at one game apiece after their 118-102 game-two home victory.


Tobias Harris and Seth Curry added 22 and 21 points, respectively, to the 76ers' coffers.


Trae Young (with 11 assists) and Danilo Gallinari (off the bench) each scored 21 points to top the Hawks while Kevin Huerter added 20 points (also coming off the bench).



WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Salt Lake City, Utah:


Donovan Mitchell scored 45 points as the Utah Jazz overcame a 13-point halftime deficit and overcame the Los Angeles Clippers 112-109 in the opening game of their conference semifinal series.


Kawhi Leonard (with seven rebounds) and Paul George (ten rebounds) topped the Clips with 23 and 20 points respectively.
