The NBA Playoffs continued on Sunday with two games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Philadelphia:
Trae Young scored 35 points while dishing out ten assists as the Atlanta Hawks opened their conference semifinal series with a 128-124 road victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Bogdan Bogdanovic and John Collins each added 21 points to the Hawks' coffers.
Joel Embiid topped the Sixers with 39 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Seth Curry and Tobias Harris (who pulled in ten boards) scored 21 and 20 points respectively for Philly.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Los Angeles:
In the final game of the playoffs' round of 16, Kawhi Leonard came close to posting a triple double (28 points, 10 rebounds, 9 rebounds) while Marcus Morris added 23 points and Paul George 22 (to go with his 10 assists) as the Los Angeles Clippers, with seven players, including all five starters) downed the visiting Dallas Mavericks 126-111 in game seven of their conference quarterfinal series, which the Clippers won four games to three.
It was the only game to be won by the home team.
Luka Doncic topped the Mavericks with 46 points while dishing out 14 assists.
Los Angeles will open their conference semifinal series with the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Tuesday (7:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).
