The Stanley Cup Playoffs continude with five games on Monday.
CENTRAL DIVISION:
At Sunrise, Florida:
MacKenzie Weegar, Mason Marchment, Patric Hornqvist (power play), and Frank Vatrano (empty net) each scored once while Spencer Knight saved 36 of 37 shots as the Florida Panthers stayed alive in their divisional semifinal series by outdistancing the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1.
The defending Stanley Cup champions, still up three games to two, can finish off their cross-state rivals with a game-six home victory on Wednesday (5:00 PM Pacific Time, CNBC).
EAST DIVISION:
At Pittsburgh:
Josh Bailey scored the winning goal 51 seconds into the second overtime period as the New York Islanders upended the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 on the road in game five of their divisional semifinal series.
The Islanders, now up three games to two, can lock up the series with a game-six victory back home at Uniondale, Long Island on Wednesday (3:30 PM Pacific Time, NBCSN).
NORTH DIVISION:
At Montreal:
William Nylander and Morgan Rielly each scored a second-period goal to carry the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 2-1 game-three road victory over the Montreal Canadiens and a two-games-to-one series advantage.
At Winnipeg, Manitoba:
Kyle Conner scored the winning goal at 6:52 of the third overtime period as the Winnipeg Jets completed a four-game sweep of their series with the Edmonton Oilers with a 4-3 home victory in game four.
WEST DIVISION:
At Paradise, Nevada:
Kirill Kaprizov, Zach Parise, Jordan Greenway, and Nico Sturm (empty net) each scored once as the Minnesota Wild staved off elimination by knocking off the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 on the road in game five of their divisional semifinal series.
The Golden Knights, still up three games to two, can close out the series with a game-six victory in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday (6:00 PM Pacific Time, NBCSN).
