The NBA Playoffs' Round of 16 continued on Sunday with four games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Philadelphia:
Tobias Harris scored 37 points while Joel Embiid added 30 as the Philadelphia 76ers overpowered the visiting Washington Wizards 125-118 in the opening game of their conference quarterfinal series.
Bradley Beal scored 30 points to pace the Wizards while grabbing ten rebounds.
At New York:
Trae Young---who scored 32 points and dished out ten assists while grabbing seven rebounds---made the go-ahead basket with 0.9 seconds remaining to lift the Atlanta Hawks to a series-opening 107-105 road victory over the New York Knicks, ruining the New Yorkers' first playoff game since 2013.
Alec Burks came off the bench to top the Knickerbockers with 27 points.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Phoenix, Arizona:
Devin Booker scored 34 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out eight assists as the Phoenix Suns took the opening game of their conference quarterfinal series with the Los Angeles Lakers 99-90 at home.
Deandre Ayton added 21 points to the Suns' coffers while grabbing 16 boards.
At Salt Lake City, Utah:
Dillon Brooks scored 31 points while Ja Morant added 26 as the Memphis Grizzlies knocked off the Utah Jazz 112-109 on the road in their series opener.
Bojan Bogdanovic topped the Jazz with 29 points while Mike Conley added 22 (to go with his 11 assists).
