The NBA Playoffs continued on Saturday with four games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Miami:
Brook Lopez scored 25 points (and grabbed eight rebounds) while Khris Middleton (with eleven boards) and Giannis Antetounmpo (12 rebounds, 15 assists) each added 20 as the Milwaukee Bucks dumped the Miami Heat 120-103 to complete a four-game series sweep of the defending Eastern Conference champions.
Bryn Forbes came off the bench to add 22 points to the Bucks' coffers.
Bam Adebayo topped the Heat with 20 points while grabbing 14 boards.
At Washington:
Joel Embiid scored 36 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers dominated the Washington Wizards 132-103 on the road in game three of their conference quarterfinal series.
Tobias Harris added 20 points to the Sixers' coffers as all five Philadelphia starters scored in double figures.
Russell Westbrook produced a triple-double (26 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists) while Bradley Beal added 25 points as the twosome topped the Wizards in scoring.
The 76ers, now up three games to none, can advance to the conference semifinals with a game-four victory in Washington on Monday (4:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Portland, Oregon:
Norman Powell match his playoff career high with 29 points while C.J. McCollum added 21 (to go with his eight assists) as the Portland Trail Blazers, with five players scoring in double figures, overpowered the visiting Denver Nuggets 115-95 in game four of their conference quarterfinal series, now stalemated at two games apiece.
At Memphis, Tennessee:
Donovan Mitchell scored 29 points while Mike Conley added 27 as the Utah Jazz, with six players (including all five starters) scoring in double figures overcame the Memphis Grizzlies 121-111 on the road in game three of their series, which the Jazz now lead two games to one.
Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks scored 28 and 27 points, respectively, to top the Grizzlies.
