Europa League: Red Devils, Gunners, Yellow Sub, Dinamo Zagreb (Who Knock Off Spurs), Roma, Slavia Prague, Granada Advance To Quarterfinals

 The Europa League's Round of 16 concluded on Thursday with eight games.


At Bern, Switzerland:


David Neres (20') and Dusan Tadic (PK-49') each scored once as Ajax Amsterdam blanked BSC Young Boys 2-0 on the road in game two and easily won their series 5-0 on aggregate.


At Villarreal, Spain:


Gerard Moreno scored twice (13', 36') as Villarreal registered a second 2-0 blanking of Dynamo Kiev, this time at home, and knocked out the Ukrainian club 4-0 on aggregate.


At Kiev, Ukraine (due to warlike conditions in eastern Ukraine):


Borja Mayoral scored twice (48', 72') as AS Roma blanked Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 on the road in game two and won their series 5-1 on aggregate.


At London:


Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two home decision to Olymapiacos, Arsenal still won their series with the Greek club 3-2 on aggregate.


At Zagreb, Croatia:


Mislav Orsic delivered a hat trick, scoring twice in regulation (62', 83') to level Dinamo Zagreb's series with Tottenham Hotspur at 2-2, then scored the overtime series winner in the 106th minute as the Croatian club upended Spurs 3-2 on aggregate.


At Milan, Italy:


Paul Pogba scored the series-winning goal in the 48th minute as Manchester United defeated AC Milan 1-0 on the road in game two and eliminated the Rossoneri 2-1 on aggregate.


At Glasgow, Scotland:


Peter Olayinka (14') and Nicolae Stanciu (74') each scored once as Slavia Prague knocked off visiting Rangers 2-0 and knocked off the Scottish club 3-1 on aggregate.


At Budapest, Hungary (due to COVID-related travel restrictions in Norway):


Roberto Soldado scored the series-winning goal in the 72nd minute as Granada, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two decision to Molde FK, won their series 3-2 on aggregate.
