The Canadian Football League's Grey Cup Playoffs opened on Sunday with two games.
EASTERN DIVISION:
At Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, Montreal:
Trevor Harris completed 27 of 34 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown while Walter Fletcher ran for 77 yards and another score as the Montreal Alouettes defeated the visiting Hamilton Tiger-Cats 28-17.
Next Sunday, the Alouettes will play in their first East Division Final since 2014 when they visit the Toronto Argonauts.
WESTERN DIVISION:
At BC Place, Vancouver, British Columbia:
Keon Hatcher, Bryan Burnham, and Alexander Hollis all scored touchdowns for the British Columbia Lions, who defeated the visiting Calgary Stampeders 30-16.
Next Sunday, the Lions will play a visit on the defending champions Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Division Final.
