Kyle Filipowski scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds on Thursday as the Duke Blue Devils (#8 AP, #10 Coaches; 5-1) held off the Oregon State Beavers (3-2) 54-51 in the opening game of the Phil Knight Invitational.
Jordan Pope paced the Beavers with 14 points.
