Miles Wood scored twice and assisted once as the New Jersey Devils (8-3-0, 16 points) won their fifth straight game on Thursday as they overcame the homestanding Edmonton Oilers (7-4-0, 14 points) 4-3.

The Devils have now won eight of their last nine games.
