Desmond Bane scored 20 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter on Wednesday (while grabbing eight rebounds) as the Memphis Grizzlies (5-3) held off the homestanding Portland Trail Blazers (5-2) 111-106.
Ja Morant contributed 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists to the Grizzlies' coffers.
Six Memphis players scored in double figures.
Anfernee Simons topped the Blazers with 31 points while grabbing eight boards while Jerami Grant and Jusuf Nurkic each added 23 points (with the latter grabbing thirteen rebounds).
