MLS Cup Playoffs: NYC, ATX Advance To Respective Conference Finals

The quarterfinal round of the MLS Cup Playoffs concluded with two games on Sunday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Saputo Stadium, Montreal:

Maxi Morales (6'), Heber (45'+3), and Talles Magno (PK-61') each scored once as New York City defeated hosts Montreal 3-1 in an Eastern Conference semifinal match for the right to visit Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference Final

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles:

Moussa Djitte (26') and Sebastian Driussi (29') each scored once as Austin FC held off visiting FC Dallas 2-1.
