At Harrison, New Jersey:

Talles Magno scored the game winner in the 81st minute as New York City defeated visiting Atlanta United 2-1.

At Portland, Oregon:

Denis Bouanga scored the game winner in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time as the Los Angeles Football Club clinched the Supporters' Shield by knocking off the homestanding Portland Timbers 2-1.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

William Agada scored the only goal of the match in the 41st minute as Sporting Kansas City defeated the visiting Seattle Sounders 1-0, assuring the guests of missing the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time in their 14-year history.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

Sebastian Ferreira scored twice (PK-30', 39') as the Houston Dynamo knocked off Nashville 2-1 on the road.
