Denis Bouanga scored the game winner in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time on Sunday as the Los Angeles Football Club gained their second Supporters' Shield title after their 2-1 Major League Soccer road victory over the Portland Timbers.
Carols Vela also scored for the Angelinos in the 51st minute.
Dairon Asprilla scored for the Timbers in the 81st minute.
The Timbers head to Sandy, Utah for their regular-season finale against Real Salt Lake with a win or draw good enough to clinch their sixth straight postseason appearance.
This Decision Day match will air on Sunday at 2:00 PM Pacific Time and will be nationally telecast on ESPN 2.
