MLS: ATX, Red Bulls Clinch Playoff Berths; Whitecaps Dominate Galaxy; Quakes Eliminated

Four games were on the Major League Soccer Wednesday schedule.

At Orlando, Florida:

Thiago Almada scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute as Atlanta United remained alive for a playoff spot by knocking off hosts Orlando City 1-0.

At Austin, Texas:

Moussa Djitte scored twice (60', 76') as Austin FC clinched their first-ever MLS Cup Playoff berth after dominating visiting Real Salt Lake 3-0.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Keegan Rosenberry scored the game winner at 77 minutes as the Colorado Rapids defeated the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.

The Quakes have been eliminated from playoff contention.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Ryan Gauld (57'), Pedro Vite (68'), and Tosaint Ricketts (86') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps dominated the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 3-0.
