Ford Proctor's first Major League Baseball home run was a grand slam walloped on Thursday while Carlos Rodon struck out ten batters in six scoreless innings as the San Francisco Giants (78-78) completed another sweep of the visiting Colorado Rockies (65-91) with a 6-4 home victory.
The Giants have won four straight games and nine of their last ten starts and find themselves 5.5 games in back of the Philadelphia Phillies with six games remaining for the last National League wild-card berth.
