At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Quarterback Stetson Bennett IV threw for 368 yards and accounted for three touchdown as the Georgia Bulldogs (#3 in both the AP and Coaches polls) scored a touchdown on each of their first seven possessions in dismantling the Oregon Ducks (#11 AP, #12 Coaches) 49-3 in their regular-season opener, spoiling the Oregon head coaching debut of ex-Dawgs assistant Dan Lanning.
It was the Ducks' most lopsided defeat since 2016 and most lopsided season-opening setback since 1975.
