UEFA Champions League Qualifying, Third Round

 The third round of UEFA Champions League qualifying continued on Wednesday with five games.


Champions Path:


At Haifa, Israel:


Ali Mohamed scored twice (54', 62') as Maccabi Haifa blew out ten-man Apollon Limassol 4-0 at home in their series opener.


At Baku, Azerbaijan:


Owusu Kwabena's equalizer in the 34th minute enabled Qarabag to gain a 1-1 home draw with Ferencvaros in game one.


Franck Boli scored for the Hungarian club in the 17th minute.


At Bodo, Norway:


Hugo Vetiesen got the ball rolling with his successfully-converted penalty kick in the 33rd minute as Bodo/Glimt, with five players each scoring once, destroyed visiting Zalgiris 5-0 in their series-opening match.


At Belgrade, Serbia:


Osman Bukari produced a hat trick (29', 44', 70') as Red Star Belgrade, despite finishing the game with ten men, destroyed visiting Pyunik 5-0 in their series opener.




League Path:


At Lodz, Poland (due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine):


Oleksandr Karavaev scored the only goal of the match at 28 minutes as Dynamo Kiev opened their series with Sturm Graz by downing the Austrian club 1-0.
