MLS: Five-Game Wednesday

 Five games were contested on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.


At Atlanta:


Lewis Morgan (11') and John Tolkin (15') each scored once in the first quarter-hour as the New York Red Bulls held off homestanding Atlanta United 2-1.


At Toronto:


Federico Bernardeschi (PK-31) and Domenico Criscito (75') each scored once to lift Toronto FC to a 2-2 home draw with the New England Revolution.


Thomas McNamara (37') and Justin Rennicks (48') each scored once for the guests.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Brandt Bronico scored the winning goal in the 77th minute to lift Charlotte FC, coming off their road demolition against LAFC, past New York City 3-1 on the road.


At Frisco, Texas:


Jesus Ferreira scored the only goal of the match in the 34th minute as FC Dallas defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0.


At Vancouver, British Columbia:


Ryan Gauld scored twice (14', 40') as the Vancouver Whitecaps held off the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-1.
