Europa League Qualifying Opens

 The third round of Europa League qualifying commenced on Thursday with seven games.


Champions Path:


At Malmo, Sweden:


Isaac Kiese Thelin (54'), Nils Ola Toivonen (81'), and Veljko Bimancivic (85') each scored once as Malmo FF dominated visiting F91 Dudelange 3-0 in the opening contest of their two-game series.


The Luxembourgian club concluded the match reduced to ten men.

At Maribor, Slovenia:


David Browne (47') and Bojan Radulovic (64') each scored once as HJK Helsinki blanked homestanding NK Maribor 2-0 in their series-opening match.

Hrvoje Milicevic scored the game winner in the 70th minute as AEK Larnaca defeated visiting Partizan Belgrade 2-1 in their series opener.


At Istanbul, Turkey:


Lincoln Henrique Oliveira dos Santos scored twice (45'+2, 81') as Fenerbahce defeated visiting ten-man Slovacko 3-1 in game one.
