UEFA Champions League, Qualifying, Second Round

 The second round of UEFA Champions League qualifying continued with five games on Wednesday.


Champions Path:


At Budapest, Hungary:


Guram Kashia (81') and Tigran Barseghyan (86') each scored once as Slovan Bratislava came from behind to knock off hosts Ferencvaros 2-1 in game one of their two-game series.


At Helsinki, Finland:


Jan Kopic scored the game winner in the 57th minute as FC Viktoria Plzen upended HJK Helsinki 2-1 on the road in their series opener.


At Maribor, Slovenia:


The opening contest between Maribor and visiting FC Sheriff resulted in a 0-0 stalemate.


At Haifa, Israel:


A stoppage-time goal from Doley Haziza (90'+2) enabled Maccabi Haifa to gain a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Olympiacos.


Philip Zinckernagel scored for The Legend at seven minutes.


League Path:


At Lodz, Poland (due to Russian-Ukrainian war):


The opening match between Ukraine's Dynamo Kiev (the designated hosts) and Turkey's Fenerbahce was played to a 0-0 deadlock.
