At Vilnius, Lithuania:
Fabien Ourega scored the only goal of Zalgiris' series-opening victory over visiting Malmo in the 49th minute.
At Razgrad, Bulgaria:
Pieros Sotiriou scored twice (25', 35') as Ludogorets Razgrad dominated visiting Shamrock Rovers 3-0 in their series opener.
At Yerevan, Armenia:
Samir Hadji's successfully-converted penalty kick in the 72nd minute lifted F91 Dudelange to a series-opening 1-0 road win over Pyunik.
LEAGUE PATH:
At Herning, Denmark:
Erik Sviatchenko's equalizer in the 84th minute lifted FC Midtjylland to a 1-1 series-opening home draw with AEK Larnaca.
Adam Gyursco scored for the Cypriot club in the 81st minute.
