Jaroslaw Niezgoda (53') and Dairon Asprilla (71') each scored once in the second half as the Portland Timbers battled back from behind to upend the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 in Saturday Major League Soccer action.
Benjamin Kikanovic scored for the Quakes in the 41st minute.
The Timbers' next game is a nationally-televised affair with Minnesota United next Saturday at 12:00 Pacific Time at Saint Paul Minnesota (ABC)
