At Atlanta:

Juan Sanchez Purata's equalizer in the 71st minute lifted Atlanta United to a 1-1 home draw with Orlando City.

Mauricio Pereyra tallied for the Lions in the 10th minute.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Valentin Castellanos scored the only goal of the match in the 69th minute as New York City took the Big Apple Derby 1-0 on the road at the New York Red Bulls' expense.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Juan Hernandez Suarez (16') and Lucas Zelarayan (PK-86') each scored once as the Columbus Crew blanked visiting Cincinnati 2-0 in the latest edition of the "Hell Is Real" Buckeye State Derby.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

Jose Cifuentes scored the game winner in the 46th minute as the Los Angeles Football Club upended Nashville 2-1 on the road.

At Sandy, Utah:

Sergio Corvoda (50'), Pablo Ruiz (64'), and Jefferson Savarino (71') each scored once as Real Salt Lake dominated visiting, ten-man Sporting Kansas City 3-0.

At San Jose, California:

Thorleifur Ulfarsson scored the game winner at 76 minutes as the Houston Dynamo came from behind to upend the homestanding San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.

At Portland, Oregon:

Felipe Mora converted a penalty kick in the 82nd minute to carry the Portland Timbers to a 1-1 Cascadia Cup home draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Brian White scored for the 'Caps in the 32nd minute.
