Devils Take Out Habs In Shootout


At Newark, New Jersey on Sunday night, Jack Hughes scored twice and scored a shootout goal as the New Jersey Devils upended the visiting Montreal Canadiens 4-3 in NHL play.


Blazers Blow Late Lead, Fall At Home In OT To OKC


In Portland, Oregon on Monday night, Isaiah Roby scored a career-high 30 points, converting 11 of 13 shots from the field in the process as the Oklahoma City Thunder (22-53) overcame an eight-point late fourth-quarter deficit to knock off the Portland Trail Blazers (27-48) 134-131 in overtime.


Aaron Wiggins added 28 points (a career high) and Theo Maledon 23 (to go with his ten rebounds) to the Thunder's coffers.


Ben McLemore came off the bench to top the Blazers with 28 points while Drew Eubanks added 27 (to go with his 14 rebounds) Brandon Williams added 25 while dishing out 12 assists.


The Blazers have dropped four straight games and 14 of 16 since the All-Star Break.
