New Orleans Bowl: Ragin' Cajuns Come Back To Hold Off Thundering Herd

 At Caesars Superdome, New Orleans:


Running back Emani Bailey ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns while quarterback Levi Lewis passed for 270 yards and two more scores on Saturday night as the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns (#23, CFP Rankings; 13-1) scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to overcome the Marshall Thundering Herd (7-6) 36-21 in the New Orleans Bowl.


It was a successful debut for new ULL head coach Michael Desormeaux, promoted from offensive coordinator to replace Billy Napier, who left to become Florida's new head football coach.
