Providence Park Is Set To Become Madhouse For MLS Cup Final After Timbers Shut Out RSL For West Crown

 At Providence Park, Portland, Oregon:


Felipe Mora (5') and Santiago Moreno (61') each scored once while Steve Clark came up with three saves to preserve the shutout on Saturday as the Portland Timbers blanked visiting Real Salt Lake 2-0 in Major League Soccer's Western Conference Final.


RSL were reduced to ten men in the 78th minute as Aaron Herrera was assessed a second yellow card.


The Timbers will be playing in their third MLS Cup Final, this time at  home, next Saturday at 12:00 Noon Pacific Time (ABC).
